Our family’s 1918 Waterloo Boy tractor can often be seen at tractor shows and reunions around the country. Its two-cylinder engine provides powerful work capacity while still needing regular maintenance to keep running smoothly.

This event boasts a 20-mile tractor parade, antique tractor show, country auction, chicken barbecue, vendors, and country bands. Held annually during the third weekend in June at Hyder-Burks Agricultural Pavilion, admission costs $8 for adults and $4 for those 12 or under; proceeds benefit Mercersburg Fire Department as a portion. While the antique tractor hobby wasn’t yet widespread at that point, Harvey knew some enthusiasts.
