Unlock the Power of 1/16 John Deere a with Cultivators?

This precision classic series model from ERTL makes an excellent addition to any 1/16 farm set. Crafted of die-cast metal and featuring a steerable front axle that can be activated via its steering wheel in the cab, this die-cast metal truck can also accommodate most 1:16 scale accessories and implements for versatile use both around the house or out in the field.
This large tractor offers plenty of power for hard work with its cultivator attachment, as well as being compatible with Bruder’s agricultural line plow and sowing attachments. Equipped with a rear hitch to attach any attachment, its trailer coupling offers height-adjustable lifting gear that makes pulling multiple towing devices possible; perfect for sandbox play!
Bruder’s Big Farm series of 1:16 scale vehicles are built tough enough for sandbox play while offering realistic details from real John Deere tractors. This particular model comes in John Deere green color and includes a working steering wheel; recommended for children aged three years or up.
Ertl has decided to bring back their Patio Series of Lawn and Garden Tractors that they released in 1970, which have proven popular collectible items on eBay. As limited one time production will make these even more desirable as collectible pieces, Ertl hopes bringing these back as one time productions.
The Patio Series tractors feature custom colored seats and hoods. Instead of being painted the traditional John Deere green hue, they come in smaller numbers than their Precision Series counterparts and come equipped with their own set of lawn and garden attachments; including mower deck blades that raise and lower along with chrome plated front wheel covers and rear wheel weights; while front mounted tillers boast blades angled right and left as well as movable hydraulic levers, spring-loaded throttle levers, and functional hydraulic cylinders – among many more features.

Unlock the Power of the 1/16 Waterloo Boy Tractor

The 1/16 John Deere Waterloo Boy makes an outstanding addition to any model tractor collection, featuring a working front loader, two cylinder kerosene engine, an adjustable drawbar and belt pulley levers, air stacks, fuel tanks, radiator fans and water pumps – not forgetting its coin and book! Plus its box is in perfect condition!
Ertl originally released this model as part of their seven piece John Deere historical set in 1968. Later in 1989 they issued an updated version featuring enhanced paint details, more detailed rear grills, decals, yellow wheel rivets and improved wheel tread detail. Both versions can be purchased individually or as part of a 10-piece John Deere historical tractor set.
John Deere and Company purchased Waterloo Gasoline Engine Company in 1918 to begin its Deere Tractor dynasty. Their initial offering, known as the 1918 Waterloo Boy tractor with two-cylinder kerosene engine was an extremely versatile machine capable of plowing, disking, harrowing, reaping and powering threshers among many other jobs – marking a hardworking machine from Deere’s legendary lineage of tractors.
John Deere tractors were initially designed with performance in mind rather than style. For instance, their two cylinder Model D produced 30hp and pulled a three bottom plow that often required rebuilding. While this design was an improvement on previous efforts from Deere, they still weren’t known for their aesthetic qualities – until 1960s 4010s and other 10 series John Deere models began changing that perception.
The 1/64 scale is an extremely popular scale for recreating classic farm tractors. More cost-effective than the 1:24 version, yet still offering many of the same features, this model makes a fantastic addition to any collection and display case. Ertl has produced several different John Deere Sound-Gard models in this scale; see Doug Harke’s article from Variations magazine (August 2004 edition) for further insight. This 200th Birthday set offers one containing large balloon-style front tires which would have been considered premium features back then.

Ford released their second generation F-Series trucks in 1956, boasting improved dimensions and engines from their predecessors, along with the first unibody designs to integrate styleside bed with cab. While some were opposed to this change at first, its implementation led to sleeker looks as it allowed easier entry/exit from cab. Furthermore, this design solved numerous issues experienced with previous generations’ trucks, such as flexing at heavy loads or difficulty accessing them easily.
This second-generation F-Series truck remains popular to this day. Its design was sleek and attractive, which draws collectors and enthusiasts. This vehicle had a wider hood with Ford lettering stretched across it; and also featured a wider grille with thinner inner squares containing two headlights; this grille style could be found both on V-8 models as well as six-cylinder versions.
The cab of this generation of trucks was also altered significantly, and was one of the key changes that helped make them more appealing. Doors now had smoother, bubbled surfaces that had new vertical shapes; these doors were also trimmed with chrome for an even higher-end and luxurious appearance. Finally, their rear window had also been altered; now featuring full wrap design similar to their front windshields; this feature led to these trucks becoming known as “Big-Window” trucks.
This stunning 1956 F-100 pickup truck has been fully restored to near perfection. Finished in bronze metallic paint with custom wheels and equipped with a 5.0L Coyote engine, this piece makes an impression at any car show or vintage meet, becoming sure to attract lots of attention. Features of note include power steering and air conditioning – for more information be sure to visit RM Sotheby’s listing as this will give you all of the information required to make an informed decision about purchasing this classic vehicle.
