Unlock the ’70s with a Ford C-750 Camelot Cruiser?

One of three Camelot Cruisers ever built, this 1974 model is an authentic home on wheels with a basement garage housing two matching snowmobiles. Now for sale at Bring a Trailer, this unique RV offers living space, kitchen amenities, bedroom accommodation, and bathroom facilities; plus, it even features dual sinks!
Richard “Dick” Edler wanted his Camelot Cruiser RVs from Edler & Company to offer something truly exceptional for customers in the 1970s, so they were built using semi-truck trailer trucks and provided with everything from refrigerators to gold-plated cutlery.
These luxury RVs were constructed for long-haul comfort and weren’t cheap either: each Camelot Cruiser featured a Ford C-900 heavy-duty truck at the front, along with a Gerstenslager trailer larger than most conventional motorhomes.
At 55 feet and 12 feet wide, this particular model stands tall as one of the biggest on the road. Powered by a 391-inch big block V8, four-speed automatic transmission, and equipped with an intercom system to communicate with its driver, it makes an impressionful presence.
Camelot Cruiser was designed to adapt to whatever owner needed it for, with drivers having sole discretion over deciding whether or not to take their ride out on trips. The first model included a basement that served as a kennel for their Saint Bernard dogs, while subsequent models could transport boats or snowmobiles.
At present, this Camelot Cruiser is being kept at an auction yard in Skokie, Illinois; however, its listing on Bring a Trailer indicates it could find a home shortly. After all, its unique charm makes it stand out among other trailers on the open road. So what do you think? Would this royal rig make its way on the open road or be better kept as an AirBnB?

Unlock the Potential of a ’70s Chevy C-750 Snowmobile Trailer?

The 1970s Chevy C-750 Snowmobile Trailer is an ideal way to transport any vintage sled. Featuring a durable galvanized coating that protects the steel from corrosive elements, as well as 6-inch cast iron wheels for increased stability, this classic trailer can hold up to 6,000 lb with ease and makes an excellent addition to any vehicle!
Trucks, trailers, and dumpsters play an essential part in the transportation industry, helping businesses move products and services across long distances. Selecting appropriate equipment is key to its success – therefore, selecting an ideal trailer for your business must be considered when selecting equipment for transporting products or services.
When purchasing a trailer, take into account several key considerations. First and foremost is size. Select one that will accommodate the size and shape of your vehicle for optimal use; if larger trailers are necessary, opt for ones that feature wider decks to load more items more efficiently while creating greater storage space.
Consider the quality of materials when looking for your trailer. A quality trailer will last longer and present fewer problems than an inferior product; additionally, its price may differ accordingly.
Choose a color that complements your vehicle. Trailers come in an array of hues that should suit any car perfectly; take time to select the ideal one! Also, be sure to investigate warranties carefully – having greater peace of mind will only add more peace.
Modern trailers are custom-built to your specifications, guaranteeing an ideal fit for your flatbed. They come complete with a full structural warranty and can be custom-measured to meet exact measurements. Furthermore, good quality trailers typically include corrosion-resistant finishes that prevent rust from forming for up to 50 years and reduce maintenance and repair needs over time – saving both money and effort in the process.

Unlock the ’70s with a Ford C-750 Camelot Motorhome!

“Far out” best describes this massive 1970s RV. Dubbed the Camelot Cruiser, its custom design appears fit for royalty or perhaps a Van Halen cover band on tour. Based on a semi-trailer truck format and powered by a 1974 Ford C-750, this one-of-a-kind RV makes quite an impressionful sight.
Camelot Cruiser motorhome, currently listed for auction with Bring a Trailer and bidding reaching up to $120,000, is an extraordinary time capsule. Boasting an exquisite two-tone green paint job featuring gold coach lines and lettering, its two-tone green exterior stands out against its more subdued interior decor of woodgrain paneling and cabinetry; yellow vinyl dinette seating complete with matching ruffled curtains; plus, there’s even sleeping quarters behind the front seat where the driver can relax during their journey!
Dick Edler was an accomplished warehouse construction business owner when he developed the Camelot Cruiser motorhome in the early 1970s to meet his family’s traveling needs. Due to a lack of suitable large RVs available at that time, he decided to construct one himself and sell it through his company. Three were made available with different floor plans in order to accommodate various cargo; this particular Camelot Cruiser was made specifically to transport two matching Poloron snowmobiles along with its boat in its garage that runs almost the length of its length.
According to its listing, this rig still retains its original paint and is in great condition, considering its age. Fully equipped with forced-air furnace, air-conditioning, generator, and dual fuel tanks (freshwater tank and wastewater tank, each containing 300 gallons/1.136 liters), plus kennel for four Saint Bernard dogs – everything needed is included!
Worldwide Auctioneers listing of this Camelot Cruiser states it was last driven in 2021 and currently has less than 40,000 miles on it. According to its seller, it features a 391 cubic inch big block V8 that provides five mpg in city driving conditions and up to 75 mph highway speeds; furthermore, it appears in excellent working order with no signs of rust or damage.
